Hi. I am Tony Walsh, a Melbourne based entrepreneur, finance broker, DJ and of course: lover of music. I created this radio station because I wanted to create a space for all artist's to promote their sound and for listeners to find a sound that they weren’t even looking for... or knew they loved.
This platform exists free of charge for both the artist and the listeners because my main source of income is from Loans and Debt Management. Let’s be honest, debt is not fun or pretty but we all need it at some point in our lives. Almost everyone requires debt on multiple occasions especially if you are running your own business and that is where I would love to assist. As you can see from my LinkedIn profile, I have been in the finance industry for over 10 years, 7 working for someone else and 3 working for myself. Working for myself has been such a liberating experience so I really enjoy working together with people looking to make the jump from employee to self-employed. It can be a really scary thing to be able to make the jump but, once you do it, its a very rewarding feeling.
Equally as rewarding is the look on a first home buyers face when I tell them that their home loan has been approved. Or when I speak with a client that was paying 6% on their home loan and I am able to reduce that down to 3%. I told you before, debt isn't pretty and as such, most people don’t know what type of home loan they have or even if what they have is the right fit for them. The best thing about using a broker is that I am bound by the best interest duty law whereas the banks are bound by responsible lending and the two are very different things.
